This 1″ Sch 80 CPVC Union, VITON (SOC x SOC) adds a removable connection in a pipe that can be easily diconnected to remove a section of pipe or equipment. Socket connections are joined to pipe of the same diameter with solvent welding. CPVC is a higher temperature version of PVC and has better chemical resistances. VITON seals provide increased temperature resistance than EPDM seals and recommended for exposure to oils, gasoline and aggressive chemicals.
